The business center of La Senia cabinet yesterday started its activity with the event InteriHotel, a pioneering market designed to equip the inside of hotel establishments wishing to renovate their facilities. It is to contact those responsible for the hotels with companies that give them solutions to do, ie they offer anything that requires a new room, from furniture to lighting and textiles, explains Antonio Zaragoza, head of Marketing and Market Research Technology Dissemination center for Furniture (CENFIM), to manage the new business center. Eleven companies participating in the initiative, of which nine are of the Senia and build on existing furniture factories, which intend to open new market opportunities.
Yesterday took place the first session of InteriHotel, where firms play different proposals room. The event will take place in 16 sessions over the next two months. This is an innovative proposal that has no precedent in the State and practically in Europe and was well received by the first visitors. Furniture makers also have high hopes to open a new market segment, but little developed by entrepreneurs La Senia.
The business center cabinet has cost nearly a million euros from ERDF, Tarragona Provincial Government and the funds re-industrialization of the state. The center also houses offices for entrepreneurs and provides leverage other initiatives, such as conventions and trade missions to publicize abroad the furniture is manufactured in the Senia.
